Mio J Ditargetkan 4 Bulan Jadi Primadona Baru

Yamaha Indonesia berharap Mio J bisa menggantikan posisi Mio lawas menjadi primadona baru. Proses pergeseran dipatok empat bulan, terhitung skutik injeksi itu diluncurkan di Bandung, Jawa Barat, akhir pekan ini (25/2/2012).

Eko Prabowo, General Manager Promotion and Communication PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (YIMM) menjelaskan, Yamaha terus berupaya menyosialisasikan teknologi YMJET-FI yang dimiliki Mio J. Kami juga mendorong agar jaringan penjualan di seluruh Indonesia mengajak calon konsumen untuk menjajal langsung produk ini.

"Dengan mencoba, konsumen akan tahu bedanya dengan Mio lama, dan kami yakin mereka (konsumen) akan beralih," komentar Eko di Yogyakarta, (23/2/2012) malam.

YIMM menargetkan penjualan Mio J 25.000 unit per bulan dan terus ditingkatkan sampai 50.000 unit per bulan. "Untuk bulan-bulan awal, komposisi Mio injeksi baru 25 persen dari total jualan Mio, tapi akhir tahun ini kami berharap bisa jadi 100 persen," papar Eko.

Bila penjualan Mio J kian membaik dan bisa memenuhi target, Yamaha Indonesia berencana menghentikan produksi Mio (lawas) paling cepat akhir Juni 2012.  Sebagai perbandingan, sepanjang 2011 penjualan Mio dan Mio CW di seluruh Indonesia tercatat 1,1 juta unit (data AISI).

Dihadang Lubang dan Hujan

Yamaha Mio J mulai menjalani turing Yogyakarta-Bandung yang terbagi dalam dua etape untuk membuktikan ketangguhan, hari ini (24/2). KompasOtomotif dan General Manager Promotion & Communications PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) Eko Probowo mendapat giliran pertama berkencan dengan Mio J sejauh 178 km dari Kota Gudeg menuju Purwokerto (Jawa Tengah).

Dilepas dari Kedaung, Yogyakarta (tak jauh dari pusat kota) pukul 08.35 WIB, 25 unit Mio J yang ditunggangi jurnalis, 10 bikers komunitas Yamaha dan dua blogger mengelilingi Yogya. KompasOtomotif mendapat sepeda motor urutan 19 berkelir hijau.

Setelah berputar-putar, rombongan dikebut ke arah selatan melalui Wates- Purworejo-Bagelen-Kutoarjo-Kutowinangun menuju Kebumen. Selama perjalanan cuaca lumayan terik, membuat peluh bekucur deras! Trek yang dilalui cukup bersahabat, tak ada tikungan tajam atau turunan curam.

Para pengendara dituntut sedikit konsentrasi lantaran jalanan banyak berlubang. kendati begitu, skutik berteknologi YMJET-FI ini bisa melesat dengan kecepatan rata-rata 60-70 kpj.

Kami mau wartawan, blogger dan bikers Yamaha sendiri yang membuktikan ketangguhannya. Ini jadi alasan dilakukan turing kali ini," komentar Eko Prabowo.

Saat ditanya kesan berkendara dengan Mio J, Nassrullah dari Mio Club Depok yang jadi salah satu peserta turing mengaku puas. "Kelebihannya ada di mesin, tarikannya lebih responsif," jelasnya singkat.

Mohammad Rahmat dari King Club Djakarta mengaku antusias merasakan Mio J. "Saya juga punya Mio lama, tapi yang ini (Mio J) jauh lebih menarik apalagi dengan teknologi injeksinya yang baru," tutup Rahmat.
